長年 NATO を含めた商品名で NATOベルトを販売してきましたが、この度、商品名から NATO を外します。 アメリカである会社が NATO の商標権を アメリカではある会社によって NATO の商標登録が行われ、その会社に商標利用料を支払わないと NATO Strap と表記できない状態となっています。 無断で使用すると弁護士、現地の裁判所を通して商品の非表示、出品停止、支払いを保留されたりといった事が頻繁に起こっており、当社も経験しました。 こういった事は独自ドメインのウェブサイトだけではなく米国アマゾン、eBay、Etsy、などのプラットフォームでも行われていて、 NATO Strap と表記しなくなったグローバルブランドが増えています。 当社の決断 日本国内だけで販売するのならば問題にはならないのでしょうがアメリカでも購入が可能ならばこの問題を避けて通るわけにはいきません。 当社はこのような会社に商標利用料を支払うことはできません。 日本国内では広告などに NATOストラップとして出稿することはあるかと思いますが、今まで販売していた NATOストラップを今後はミリタリーストラップとして販売を継続していきます。もちろん今までと同じ商品です。 皆様には特別な事情に巻き込んでしまい誠に申し訳ございませんが今後とも何卒よろしくお願いいたします。 Read more...
